Fees
Standard fee: $240.00 per 60 minute consultation.
On account: $300.00 as per Australian Psychological Society recommended fee.
Payment is due at the time of consultation.
Rebates
Clients referred by their GPs under a Mental Health Plan are eligible for a rebate from Medicare of $137.05 per session.
Under this scheme, you may receive up to 10 sessions of individual therapy in a calendar year. Review by your GP and a progress report by the Clinical Psychologist are required after the initial 6 sessions. Many Health Funds offer rebates for Psychological therapy. Clients however are not able to claim both Medicare and Private Fund rebates for the same consultation.
Cancellations
If you are unable to keep an appointment for any reason, please consider others.
Once you have made an appointment, that hour is exclusively reserved for you. Late cancellations inconvenience the therapist who has made herself available especially for you, and also unnecessarily deprive other clients who may be on a waiting list of an opportunity to see the therapist. Payment of $100 is required for cancellations with less than two working days notice. Note that cancellation fees cannot be claimed as a Medicare benefit.
Clients whose therapy is funded under an insurance claim are personally responsible for payment of late cancellations.
